Registration Deadline. 29 days before the election. If the application is received in the mails without a postmark, it must be received within 5 days of the close of registration.

Line 6: ID Number. Your social security number is optional (CRS Title 1, Article 2, Section 204).

Line 7: Choice of Party. You must register with a party if you want to take part in that party’s primary election, caucus, or convention.

Line 8: Race or Ethnic Group. Leave blank.

Line 9: Signature. To register in Colorado you must:

1) be a citizen of the United States; 2) be a resident of Colorado 30 days prior to the election; 3) be 18 years old on or before election day; 4) not be confined as a prisoner or serving any part of a sentence under mandate.
